This year's theme, highlights the state's diverse wildlife and activities related to it, from hunting and fishing to birdwatching. Contest participants used Texas natural fibers - cotton, wool and leather - to create a quilt block design. A panel of judges selected the winning entries, which were combined to create the quilt you see today. This quilt is now part of TDA's quilt collection and traveling natural fiber exhibition
